3D Bio Media - Bacteria House

Innovative technology. Made of ceramic with a very large surface area, neutral to water pH. Specially designed to have a very large filtration surface. Analysis of the surface area using the BET method determined that 3D Filter Med has a level of 2850m2/litre. The innovative three-dimensional structure of open and connected pores ensures proper filtration. This structure provides a huge surface area and the interconnected channels create a unique place and allows billions of beneficial bacteria to develop. Due to the high concentration of beneficial bacteria, this material is exceptionally effective in eliminating even very high levels of ammonia and nitrites.

The recommended dose is 1L per 100L of water. If we breed very demanding fish such as discus, it is recommended to increase the dose by at least 50%.
